mohemian is currently seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team, that is passionate about crafting sophisticated, maintainable technical solutions and creating user experience. Your Contribution
- Work closely with a small, autonomous team of product owners, designers and developers to build new and innovative applications for Android
- Implement custom native user interfaces leveraging the latest Android programming techniques and frameworks
- Build reusable and reliable Kotlin and Java code
- Analyze and optimize your application code for quality, efficiency, and performance
- Work with your team and co-define the architecture
- Continuously develop and work with an automated releases and test infrastructure
- Improve tooling for general developer productivity
- Become a valued member of an autonomous, multi-functional team
- You have a great ability to learn, and you are eager to expand your areas of expertise
- You have a strong quality approach and care for the overall performance of the product
Your Experience
- You have 3+ years of experience in developing applications with Kotlin and/or Java and Android or mobile specific frameworks
- Interest in building high-quality, maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
- You have a proactive attitude and take ownership for your code
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs like OkHttp or Realm
- You are fluent in English
- Eagerness to work with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban)
